Welcome to Colors of Faith. I'm Donna Faith Brown Clark, and every piece I create is made by hand — and made with heart — right here in the mountains of Clyde, North Carolina. My art is my calling, and I'm so glad you're here.

My Story

My faith has always been the foundation of everything I do. A few years ago, I felt a deep pull to express that faith in a tangible, beautiful way — something people could hold, display, and be reminded of what truly matters. That's how Colors of Faith was born.

I started working with resin and crushed glass almost by accident, experimenting in my home studio tucked into the Appalachian foothills. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a ministry of sorts — a way to bring beauty, meaning, and a little piece of God's grace into people's homes and hearts.

The Handcrafted Process

Each piece I create is completely one-of-a-kind. No two are ever exactly alike — and that's intentional. Here's a glimpse into how I work:

• Wood bases – I start with solid wood, chosen for its quality and character.
• Rice paper designs – Faith-inspired, patriotic, farm, or beach imagery is carefully applied to the surface.
• Crushed glass – I hand-apply crushed glass to add texture, shimmer, and dimension that catches the light beautifully.
• Epoxy resin finishing – Each piece is sealed with a premium, non-yellowing epoxy resin that protects the art and gives it a stunning, glass-like finish.
• Embellishments – Depending on the piece, I may add additional details that make it truly special.

From start to finish, every step is done by my hands, with care and intention. I pray over my work, and I believe that love and faith are literally poured into every piece.

The Collections

I create art across four themes that are close to my heart:

• Faith – Scripture, crosses, and imagery that celebrates our relationship with God. These pieces are meant to inspire, comfort, and remind us of His presence.
• Patriotic – Honoring the country we love and the brave men and women who serve it. These pieces make meaningful gifts for veterans, military families, and proud Americans.
• Farm – A nod to the simple, grounded beauty of rural life — roosters, sunflowers, barns, and the rhythms of the land.
• Beach – Coastal scenes and ocean-inspired colors that bring a sense of peace and tranquility into any space.
